Were Citroen and Daimler ever under the same roof? It looks and feels very citroen-y to me.

I remember it was a Daimler DS something. I started Google searching some names and found it.

Nope. Daimler was bought by Jaguar back in the 1960s and was never affiliated with Citroen.

Yup, that's a Daimler DS420. Basically a custom-built limo based on the 1961-70 Jaguar Mark X/420G (pictured). Made from 1968-92.
The one you're looking at is a '79-92 model. The DS420 was basically a Rolls competitor at half the price. British dignitaries had them, and Princess Di's funeral cars were Daimler DSes.
In fact, there's one in Ocean's 12. You can see the Daimler badge on the deck lid as Julia Roberts gets shuffled into it.
